AUDITION NOTICE 

CALLING ALL SOUTH AFRICAN OPERA SINGERS

South African Opera singers of all voice types are invited to submit online videos to be considered for a position in the Cape Town Opera Judith Neilson Young Artist Programme.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a tertiary qualification
• Must be a South African citizen
• Age limit: 32 years
• One introduction video (max 2min.)
• Two arias contrasting in style and language

Video submissions must be in landscape format with high-quality visuals and audio and correctly labeled. Piano accompaniment and backing tracks will be accepted.

Any entries that are emailed or do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.

All personal information will be kept on file for application and in-office uses only.

Deadline: 18 August 2025

Feedback will be provided by 26 September 2025
