Cape Town Opera’s Youth Development and Education team will stage Don Pasquale at Masiphatisane Primary School in Vredenburg, on Tuesday 15 May and at St Mary’s Primary School in Retreat, on Friday 18 May.  Cape Town Opera singers, Nkululeko Masuku, Lunga Hallam, Luvo Rasemeni, Jodie Khan, Martin Mkhize and Thando Mpushe are the cast in Donizetti’s comic opera with the chorus members from St Mary’s and Masiphatisane Primary Schools. This abbreviated version of Don Pasquale for learners is directed by Christine Crouse, with piano accompaniment by Juan Burgers and design by Christiaan Harris.
