“One of the most beautiful tenors to emerge in recent years.” Ken Winters.

Since his debut in 2012, when he performed as Rodolfo in Verdi’s Luisa Miller at Malmö Opera, Sweden, Canadian tenor Luc Robert has fast established himself as one of the most interesting spinto tenors of our time.
Don José is one of Robert’s signature roles and, in the 2016/17 season, he is engaged in Carmen productions at Frankfurt Opera, Estonian National Opera, the Opéra de Nice in France and, of course, Cape Town Opera.
